I was originally going to call the blog rant & rave, to be ‘witty’ and also as an homage to the title of a song by one of my favourite musicians, Joe Jackson, but ‘Rant & Rail’ won out more recently, given that a lot of the subject matter would be rail-related and it’s the other usual alliterative phrase with rant in it….

However, ‘Rave’ was not going to be left out, and after all the blogs short name is ‘rr’ so i’ve left my options open.

Anyway, rare may be the phenomena that get accorded the accolade of a ‘Rave’ review, so listen carefully !
